Notes from Producer:******* PLEASE NOTE ******* Time onlys are sold out from 9:30-11 AM. 8-9:25 AM still available. Pre-entry on Fast Enter available until June 19, 2025. Late entries for the open taken until 11:30 AM on June 21, 2025. Contestants in #GilbeeStrong apparel will be entered into a drawing. We are running a combination draw: all classes will run together. The combined draw will start at NOON on June 21, 2025. Drags will be after every 5 runs and big drag every 50. All late fees, ground fees, time-only fees will be donated to the family, as well as a percentage of each entry fee. All decisions made by producer are final. Producer reserves the right to refuse entry to any horse or individual. By submitting entry, contestant agrees to abide by and follow all rules. Absolutely no checks, cash only. All fees must be paid in cash prior to running. Open 4D will utilize .5 second splits. $50 fee. Youth will utilize a 3D format with full second splits. 14 years and younger as of January 1, 2025. $35 fee, 90% payback. Senior will utilize a 3D format with full second splits, 55 years and older as of January 1, 2025. $35 fee, 90% payback. Novice horse will utilize a 3D format with full second splits. Horses with LTE under $1,000. $35 fee, 90% payback. A photocopy of registration papers (front and back) for horses in futurity and derby. If the horse is not registered, a veterinarians affidavit of the year of birth along with a complete physical description must accompany nominations. This must be provided PRIOR to running. The futurity is open to horses four (4) or five (5) years old, foaled in 2020 or 2021. To be futurity eligible, the horse must NEVER have competed in any barrel race, show, play day, novice event, derby, rodeo, etc prior to November 15, 2024. Violation of this rule forfeits any and all fees paid and elimination from the futurity. Horses may have competed anywhere AFTER November 15, 2024. For the futurity, a 2D format with a .75 second split will be utilized. $75 fee, 90% payback. Derby is open to horses foaled from 2017-2020 (5-8 years of age). Horses are only eligible to enter futurity OR derby in the same year. For the derby, a 2D format with a .75 second split will be utilized. $75 fee, 90% payback. High stakes will be a 3D if at least 1 hole in the 3D will pay the entry fee, dependent on entries. If less than the fee, it will be dropped to a 2D. $125 fee, 90% payback. A knocked down barrel results in a no time. Reruns will be given only in the event of a timer malfunction. If a rerun is given, it will be up to producer to decide when the rerun will take place. Reruns will not be given for horses falling, contestant or horse equipment breaking or a rider's decisions to pull up. It is recommended that you have all paperwork required to travel across or to Wyoming (health certificate, Coggins, brand inspections). All horses at CWC Ag and Equine Center must have current paperwork. For horses in county: no paperwork needed. For horses crossing county lines: brand paper required. For horses crossing state lines: brand paper if coming from a brand state, current 30 day health, and current Coggins. No overnight pens or tie outs are allowed. Owners do not have to ride horses and riders may ride more than one horse. Contestants must be ready when called. Failure to be in position in the holding area will result in disqualification. Contestants must be present in holding pen during their set. If a horse runs out of order, it will be disqualified. Exhibitions will have a 60 second time limit, enforced by $25 fine. Must maintain forward motion. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY includes but not limited to excessive jerking, spurring, whipping, or abuse with a device or any other act intended to cause trauma or injury to a horse. Show arena, practice pen, or anywhere else on show property. Any accusations of abuse will be reviewed by the show committee and abusers will be asked to leave show grounds forfeiting any and all fees or winnings. It is the responsibility of the contestant/owner to submit incentive program paperwork with their entry and to confirm carryovers with show office prior to competing. Producer is not responsible for paying out incentive monies. Any missed carryovers (must be marked correctly on entry form) that are NOT reported to the office by the beginning of the race will not be issued any winnings or figured into the final results.
